Smart Logic Solver(SLS)

The SLS module is one of the components of the SIS security system, which is used as an Emergency Shutdown (ESD) system.

The SIS (Safety Instrumented System) safety system is a modern approach to increasing safety and integrity while improving process availability. This system continuously monitors the safety equipment installed in the plant and detects the health of the entire safety loop, thus significantly reducing risk. While independent of the control system, the SIS system is easily integrated with the DCS system, thus making the installation simpler and less expensive.
